Biography
Freddie West Tjakamarra, who was one of the founding members of Papunya Tula Artists, was her husband and together with her five sons and one daughter, they moved to Papaunya in 1963. Payu participated in Western Desert Dialysis Appeal in the famous Kiwirrkura women’s painting in 1999.
