Georgina Kelly Napaltjarri was born in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory on the 16/09/1985. Her Language group is Pintupi/Lurtja and she is the daughter of Dulcie Kelly who is very well known in the Aboriginal art world and her Grandmother Lily Kelly Napangardi is a world renowned artist.
Lily and Dulcie both mentored and taught Georgina all the stories that relate to their Dreamings of the Land, Salt Lakes, Sand Dunes and Women’s Ceremonies which Georgina now paints but concentrates more on the Tali (Sandhills) series like her mother.
