This painting depicts Margaret's homeland of Utopia in the Northern Territory after the drought when the rain has fallen and the wild flowers come to life and brighten the red desert with many beautiful colours. Amongst these flowers are many that the women from Utopia collect for their medicinal properties. Many are also used for their ceremonies.
