Mungaran draws his inspiration from all the stories that have been passed down to him through his Aboriginal heritage. The sea provided much of the food for the Aboriginal people along the coast of Australia and in this series of artworks Mungaran depicts the sea life and what his ancestors would hunt, many of which are still enjoyed today.
This artwork depicts the Platypus, both swimming with sea life around them.
