This painting depicts the star formation, when it was seen by my ancestors. Using ochres and pigments naturally occurring in the nature around them to paint on the cave walls. The skies would have been unpolluted and clear. Constellations meandering into the distance as far as the eye could see. Dancing across their imaginations, stimulating the creativity that lay dormant in their minds. Drawing them to the nature around them, to create these beautiful markings to match what they saw on those never ending nights.
