Lee’s paintings are a depiction of intricate and fine network of dots, crosses and lines that merge together to tell a story of areas such as campsites, waterholes, ceremonial sites, digging sites for food and maps. Lee continues to develop her contemporary style of depicting traditional iconography to tell her stories on canvas.
This artwork depicts the women (U shape) are gathering around the main campsite/ceremonial site in the middle. There are 2 other sites around them where there more women sitting around the campsite having ceremonies and rituals and singing songs related to their culture. There are 2 major waterholes on either side of the campsites with rivers coming off of them.
