Lee’s paintings are a depiction of intricate and fine network of dots, crosses and lines that merge together to tell a story of areas such as campsites, waterholes, ceremonial sites, digging sites for food and maps. Lee continues to develop her contemporary style of depicting traditional iconography to tell her stories on canvas.
This artwork depicts the women (U shape) are gathering around 6 campsite/ceremonial sites. There are 3 major waterholes with rivers connecting them in the middle. The women are having ceremonies with them singing and dancing and having a big corroboree.
